Southampton High School Mariners Patriot Club Seeks Student Volunteers for Water Mill Car Show

By

SOUTHAMPTON, N.Y. — The Southampton High School Mariners Patriot Club is looking for student volunteers to help with the upcoming Water Mill Car Show on Saturday, Sept. 12.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is being promoted as an opportunity for students to represent Southampton High School while supporting a local community event.

According to the club’s announcement, community service hours will be available for participating students.

The event is centered on community, service and tradition, with the Mariners Patriot Club encouraging students to take part and help organizers during the car show.

The Water Mill Car Show is more than a celebration of classic automobiles—it is a cherished community tradition that brings generations together. As we celebrate its 25th anniversary, we proudly honor the memory of veteran and community leader Charlie Corwith and reflect on the enduring significance of September 11th,” said Thea Fry.

Students interested in volunteering can contact Mrs. Fry in Room 121 or text 631-276-3435.

The volunteer effort gives Southampton students a chance to earn service hours while participating in an event designed to bring residents together around classic cars and community involvement.

The Water Mill Car Show is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.
