NEW YORK, NY — A commercial lawsuit involving Nicki Minaj and Pink Friday Productions LLC is drawing attention to the reported costs behind promotional work surrounding her 2023 album era.
The case, 24/7 Productions (USA) Inc. v. Pink Friday Productions LLC and Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty a/k/a Nicki Minaj, was filed March 23, 2026, in New York Supreme Court, New York County. Court records list the matter as an active commercial-contract dispute.
According to the complaint, 24/7 Productions alleges that it advanced substantial production, travel and hospitality costs connected to Minaj’s December 2023 promotional activities and was not fully reimbursed. The company is seeking more than $275,000 in allegedly unpaid expenses. Those claims remain allegations and have not been established as liability.
One invoice filed with the complaint shows $166,022.03 in charges associated with a December 6–11, 2023 New York promotional run. The filing lists approximately $103,730 for New York hotel accommodations, more than $22,500 in flights and additional expenses for tour personnel, per diems, hospitality and related production costs.
The invoices provide a rare look at the scale of expenses that can accompany a major artist’s promotional schedule, particularly when travel, lodging and production personnel are involved.
Recent attention around the case has also focused on reported internal communications concerning a $250,000 promotional budget for the Pink Friday 2 rollout. AUXIO News Now was able to verify the complaint and filed invoices directly, but the specific email language circulating publicly was not available in the court materials we independently retrieved. For that reason, AUXIO is not treating those reported email statements as independently established fact.
Minaj has disputed that she should be personally responsible for the alleged debt and has sought dismissal of claims against her individually, arguing that any contractual obligation would rest with Pink Friday Productions LLC.
The litigation remains ongoing. No court ruling has established that Minaj or Pink Friday Productions owes the amount claimed by 24/7 Productions.
