MASTIC BEACH, N.Y. — Assemblyman Joe DeStefano will host his annual Veterans Appreciation Breakfast on Saturday, November 7, 2026, bringing local veterans and their families together for a morning of recognition, appreciation and access to veterans services.
The complimentary breakfast will take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at American Legion Arthur H. Clune Post 1533, located at 110 Mastic Beach Road in Mastic Beach.
The event will recognize those who have served in the United States Armed Forces while connecting veterans and their families with agencies offering assistance, information and support.
Featured speakers will include Suffolk County Legislator and Lieutenant Colonel Chad Lennon and Marcelle Leis, director of the Suffolk County Veterans Service Agency and a retired command master sergeant.
The annual gathering reflects DeStefano’s continued emphasis on recognizing military service and ensuring veterans have access to resources available to them.

The breakfast is open to veterans and their families at no charge, with advance reservations requested.
